To encourage donations as well as civic engagement, kakoii Berlin developed a national TV campaign featuring Claudia Schiffer as a spokesman for the Memorial for the Murdered Jews of Europe.

  Support Organisation Memorial for the Murdered Jews of Europe.  
     
Objective  
  To raise awareness of the memorial project with a focal point on civic engagement. Fundraising for the furnishing of the Room of the Names in the documentation center.  
     
Period  
  October 2002 to July 2003  
     
Solution  
  In the summer of 2001, as part of the "The Holocaust Never Happened" campaing, Claudia Schiffer offered to do advertising for the project. kakoii developed an insightful idea to engage Mrs. Schiffers very personal commitment in the project. This is how a TV-commercial was created, where germanys most famous face - surprisingly - was not to be seen.  
     
Media  
 
- TV-commercial aired October 2002 to July 2003 on channels N-TV, Kabeleins, ProSieben and RTL.
- Press conference with representatives from politics and media.
 
     
Results  
  The paper "Die Welt" wrote: "An ad like a prayer ". Along with an increase in donations for the foundation the unusual campaign raised public awareness in the subject.
