The Free Academy for Art is one of the most tradition-rich private sites for artistic creativity in the german capital. To meet the raised requirements of professional communication in this competitive market, the FAKB took a chance on a new start in the summer of 2003. This move was to include a re-positioning as well as a new corporate design.

A jointly created re-positioning created the foundation for an innovative corporate design concept: the FAKB as an artistic educational entity with an integrated focus - and not a mass-university á la UdK/HdK..
